Alive
Alive by Jetpack Kitten was crafted throughout 2023 and 2024. It’s a song that says loud and clear: "No matter what I look like, you’ve got no right to judge me." Jetpack Kitten started writing it from his own experience with vitiligo, a long-term condition where white patches show up on the skin. It’s all about owning who you are.
Running
Running is a song about being there for another living creature.
When someone’s hurting, you want to help, but sometimes they don’t want the help right there and then. They may need it when the storm clears, when they’re back on solid ground. “When the water subsides, and you find yourself on dry land, you’ll see me running to hold your hand.”

Alive, Live at the Dublin Castle, Spring 2024
Alive is a song written to say - no matter what I look like, you have no right to judge me.
The lyrics of Alive are based on Philip's experiences of living with vitiligo - a long-term autoimmune condition where one develops white patches on the skin.
Thrilled With It, Live at the Dublin Castle, Spring 2024
Thrilled With It is a lighter pop-rock track. It talks about where humans are headed, but then takes us back down to Earth, reminding us that the most important thing is the bonds we share with other humans and creatures here on Earth.
Grace Millett’s vocals join Jetpack Kittens’. Together they sound incredible. You’ll want to listen to this one over and over.
Yesterday, Live at the Belgian Brasserie, Spring 2024
Jetpack Kitten performed at The Belgian Brasserie! Thanks to Ben & Tixi for making the night paws-itively amazing. At one point, I realized I didn’t need a microphone - Jetpack Kitten’s voice is so loud, and the venue has a capacity of around 30 people.
Songwriting
Almost every day Jetpack Kitten is songwriting - and they’ve been doing this for the past two years.
They write small ditties.
They then play the small ditties to interested listeners at open mics to see what works.
The ditties are then refined into songs.
Words matter.
Every song Jetpack Kitten writes has a meaning.
They never write a song without meaning, because without meaning, there’s no real message. And without that, Jetpack Kitten wouldn’t be able to sing it with any kind of passion.
"Watching Jetpack Kitten felt like I was witnessing magic."
